Commedia

Dante Alighieri's Commedia, later known as the Divine Comedy, is an Italian narrative poem begun around 1308 and completed around 1321, shortly before its author's death. Written in the first person, it recounts a journey through the three realms of the dead lasting from the night before Good Friday to the Wednesday after Easter in the spring of 1300.
