Aja Raden

Author of The Truth About Lies (2021), a history of cons and hoaxes, which argues that expertise can be a vulnerability rather than a defence.
Who they are
Raden's history is well sourced where it is history and lightly sourced where it makes psychological claims. Her claim that expertise can be a vulnerability, at pages 80 and 89, carries no citation; the Office of Fair Trading's 2009 research supports it better than the book shows.
