Berry Eggen

Berry Eggen is a researcher and co-author of the 2008 review that applies theories of autobiographical memory to the design of memory aids.
Who they are
Eggen wrote the review with Elise van den Hoven. It traces the move from a library picture of memory to a constructive view in which cues often set memories off, and it sets out eight design recommendations for augmented memory systems.
The article on souvenirs uses the review as the background for treating a keepsake as a cue.
