Key papers

Read, D., Loewenstein, G., & Rabin, M. (1999). Choice bracketing. Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, 19(1 to 3), 171 to 197.

Key ideas

Choices made in isolation are bracketed narrowly and choices made together are bracketed broadly. The vocabulary maps onto Kahneman and Lovallo's narrow and broad framing, and Rabin and Weizsäcker's 2009 experiments test the narrow case.
