Choice-induced preference change and the free-choice paradigm: A clarification

Alos-Ferrer (2015) · Read the paper

Alos-Ferrer first author. A clarification arguing that the 2010 mathematical result against the free-choice paradigm is incorrect, although it can be recovered in a particular case. The authors present a formal model of behaviour satisfying all the same assumptions in which spreading need not be positive without choice-induced preference change, and conclude that although the paradigm is flawed, previous experimental results taken as a whole remain informative.
