Iowa wants visiting teams to think pink

Toledo Blade (2013)

The Toledo Blade reported that the University of Iowa's visiting locker room at Kinnick Stadium was painted pink and quoted the head coach's 1989 interview with the Cedar Rapids Gazette. The coach said he thought the colour calming and described its use as tactical, as a psychological advantage if opponents worry about the colour of a dressing room. It is a newspaper report, not a test of the colour.
